Chief Executive Officer
Thomas Onel is one of the two Co-Founders of EstateX.
Together they have been working over the last 2½ years on bringing the EstateX vision to life, raising almost $2M from their presale community.
Thomas first started looking into Bitcoin in 2014, which sparked his interest in crypto and blockchain technology. Making his first crypto investments in 2015, he learned some valuable lessons with market crashes, landscape changes and trend monitoring.
Whilst participating his degree in Nature Sciences & Innovation management, in early 2020, he founded EstateX with Bart de Bruijn. This was inspired by discovering first hand the inefficiencies in the real estate market, and understanding how linking blockchain technology to the real estate market provides a range of solutions.
After investing significant time and money validating and developing their concepts, is now creating a new ecosystem of solutions for the financial and real estate industry.
He surrounds himself with experienced people and industry experts throughout the project development.
Bart de Bruijn
Chief Operations Officer
Bart de Bruijn is the other Co-Founder of EstateX. Working with Thomas for over 2 ½ years, they have brought the vision and technology to live, raising nearly $2M from a community of retail investors.
In 2017 Bart undertook a 3 year Legal Assistant Studies course, which only took where he established a solid understanding of legal frameworks, and established relationships with many lawyers.
From 2018 Bart has been running multiple E-Commerce businesses, continuously building on his success. He found his passion and what he wanted to do: Entrepreneurship. In addition to the financial rewards, Bart learned a lot from the experience of running a business, sourcing products, import laws, distribution, marketing, listings, storage, sales and running of webshops.
It was also in 2018 that Bart started to become more involved in crypto, making his first Bitcoin investment in that year. Understanding the potential game changing benefits to the financial sector, he started to explore various opportunities.
At the start of 2020, he founded EstateX together with Thomas Onel after discovering the inefficiencies in the real estate market, and the benefits and solutions enabled by linking it to blockchain technologies.
In 2020 Bart started a University Bachelor in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, where he has been receiving support for the launch of EstateX.

With a Ph.D. in statistics/computer science, he became the CEO of Dezide in 2001. Dezide is a provider of software for diagnostics and troubleshooting, based on artificial intelligence. He fulfilled this role over 13 years.
In 2014 he became Founder of Sales on Tap and CS Consult. Here he was a mentor and advisor for new IT and research-based companies.

Volodymyr Havrylyuk-Jensen
Legal Advisor
Volodymyr is an Danish/Ukrainian lawyer who is specialized in international commercial law and the legalities of crypto, regulations and security offerings.
After securing his degree in International and European Law at the University of Groningen achieving a Thesis Grade of 8.0, Volodymyr continued his studies to achieve his Major in International Commercial Law, becoming an Master of Law from the University of Copenhagen. Here he received a 12 grade (out of 12) for his Thesis about the changing landscape of EU financial law as specifically focused on DeFi and Security Tokens.
Volodymyr was employed in the corporate world as a legal assistant for some time before becoming Legal Counsel at DigiShares.
Volodymyr will advise EstateX on all regulatory requirements applicable to the primary and secondary offers of security tokens across various jurisdictions. This will include prospectus rules, licensing and reporting requirements. He will also advise on token structure, distribution and compliance duties.
